Thomas Mann International. Das Netzwerk der Mann-Häuser
The Thomas Mann Archive of ETH Zurich is a founding member of the "Thomas Mann International" network, to which five institutions joined in December 2017:
- the Buddenbrookhaus/Heinrich and Thomas Mann Centre (Lübeck)
- the Monacensia in the Hildebrandhaus (Munich)
- the Thomas Mann Archive of ETH Zurich (Zurich/Switzerland)
- the Thomas Mann House (Los Angeles/USA, Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House e. V.)
- the Thomo Manno kultūros centras/Thomas Mann Cultural Center (Nida/Lithuania)
The aim of the network is to communicate the life and work of Thomas Mann, to promote research and to show the importance of the author for contemporary issues. In addition to various event formats, the focus of the imparting is on digital access, which is intended to promote international exchange and discussion.
Joint research platform
The external pageResearch Portal "TMI Research" of the network "Thomas Mann International" enables simultaneous research in the holdings of the Buddenbrookhaus/Heinrich-und-Thomas-Mann-Zentrum in Lübeck, the Monacensia in the Hildebrandhaus in Munich, the Thomas Mann Archive of ETH Zurich and the Thomas Mann House in Los Angeles.
