Thomas Mann in the Cold War Era
A Thomas Mann Colloquium is to be held at the University of Messina from 28 to 29 April.

Eminent scholars will talk on the subject of Thomas Mann and the reception of his work in the Cold War era under the title “Global Politics/Global Peace”. They will address Thomas Mann’s own political commitment as well as public perception of the author in the East and West.

Headed by Professor Jutta Linder (University of Messina), the colloquium will be held in cooperation with the Thomas Mann Archives, as well as the German Thomas Mann Society and the Thomas Mann Society Zurich.
